The crisis on the financial market did trouble us all, and there are many corporations
that are concerned about their future, the daily headlines in the newspaper make it
worse, and the fact that Credit lines are frozen, therefore companies are very
conservative in spending money.

Even FATH, as a supplier of many diversified Industries, feels the impacts first hand.
However, we are still satisfied with our current results and see the current Year very
optimistically. There are two major factors why we are optimistically: 

1st In March of 2008 we had started a huge Cost & Efficiency program, several
Month`s before the crisis began, which lead us into a slim & fit (European term)
2009!

2nd We constantly develop new markets and Industries. The founding of FATH Solar
is the most spectacular one, that and others are how we will build a broader and
more sophisticated foundation for FATH.

This year we continued the aggressive development of the United States market,
and especially offers newcomers the greatest possibilities, and at the same time
FATH will establish more of the Asian market, and it not only supports our
procurement, but opens new fantastic market opportunities domestically in Asia.
As a financially healthy corporation with a whelm of ideas- and not to forget ur
valuable contacts around the Globe – we look at the current Challenge relaxed and
look forward to become even stronger and better during this time.

At the start of December 2008, a certification audit took place at FATH. Here, an accredited
organisation investigated whether our quality management fulfils the requirements of
DIN EN ISO 9001:2000.

A critical team of auditors from TAW Cert GmbH carefully examined our QM documentation
and all quality-related processes. The FATH GmbH QM system was checked and examined
in the area of the development, manufacture and sale of plastic and metal components.

The FATH GmbH quality management system passed the certification at the first attempt.
FATH was praised for the thorough definition of processes and the good way in which the
staff identify with the defined quality targets.

For everyone in the FATH team, the certificate is both an obligation and motivation to continue
to work at the highest level.
